The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the superior range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance level established for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to empower the servicing of all prospects and enhance usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
